We understand that hospitals can sometimes be reluctant to work with agencies due to poor experiences in the past where a hospital has employed a substantive doctor via this route, and the doctor has signed an offer letter and either not ended up starting, or taken 6 months to start their post. Further to this, we often hear that doctors do start their position, however end up leaving after a few months.
